Dick Flynt Golf Outing September 23, 2024
The Lions Club of Aiken serves our community in so many ways!
But where does the money come from to fund all these services? The funds come from the many projects that the Lions do each year to raise money.
Our major fundraising activity is called “The Dick Flynt Memorial Golf Tournament”. It is held once a year in memory of Dick Flynt, who was a devoted Lion as well as the local Pontiac Dealer for many years. All the money, collected from the various projects, goes back into the community. The dues of the individual members help toward the administration of Lions Club International.
You may ask, “What can I do to support the efforts of the Lions in their quest to be of service to humanity”? The answer is simple: Play golf in our Tournament, or help with a contribution to underwrite the expense of putting on the tournament.
Please feel free to contact us with questions about this event: Bill Finlay, 803-642-5500
